Many choices of one day Family Travel in Sapa Vietnam


Within one day in Sapa, we offer for your family travel many choices for your amazing trip explore the nice scenery nature of Sapa.

Option 1: Matra and Taphin

Get to know the daily life styles and specific custom of the Red Dao minority among stunning landscape. We will take a jeep  to Matra village of the Red Dzao then about 9 km trekking thought the forest to Ta Phin village. Visit Ma Tra and Ta Phin village, picnic lunch on the way and the jeep to return to Sapa from Ta Phin.

Option 2: Lao Chai - Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai

The guide will pick up you at your hotel. First we take 6 km by jeep then 2 km walk down to Lao Chai village and on terraced rice fields to Ta Van, village of the Dzay minority. Lunch at a local family. Learn about their daily life, jobs and specific custom. A highlight of the day is trekking through bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai  home to the Red Dzao minority. Visit a wonderful waterfall and a suspension rattan bridge on the way to the main road for a jeep to return to Sapa.

Option 3: Bac Ha market (only on Sundays! )

120 km from Sapa, Bac Ha mountain town know to travelers as most colorful market of the hill tribes of the North west Viet Nam . Every Sunday market held by more than 8 ethic groups : Tay , Dzay , Black Dzao , Flower Mong...
Attend the market you will find back the actual case of trading barter by cattle , handicrafts ..
In the afternoon, walk to visit Ban Pho home to the Flower H'mong minority and visit the Cat King house. then drive back to Lao Cai station for a night train to Ha Noi  or drive back to Sapa again.

Option 4: Mountain bike tour

Depart from Sapa at 8: 00 am. Your support vehicle will transfer you to the starting point at the Silver Waterfall. A 3-km climb (about 50 min) over stunning Tram Ton Pass (the highest in Indochina) provides great view of the Hoang Lien Son Valley before a free-wheeling 26 km (about 1.5 hrs) glide to Binh Lu Junction. Binh Lu area is dotted with the villages of many hill tribes including: Thai, Dzao, H'Mong, Lu and Nung. After lunch, cycle 8 km to visit a Thai village and explore the Fairy Cave before meeting your support Jeep for a drive back to Sapa. Tour ends around 4 pm.
*Note : If you leave Sapa on a Sunday morning, you can choose to leave earlier or to save some time by taking the van to the top of the Pass, before gliding down to the Binh Lu Market.

Option 5: Sa Seng - Hau Thao - Hang Da - Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai  ( 18kms trekking )

09.00 The guide will pick up you at your hotel and transferred out of Sapa town to walking path.You start the day tour walking along a large path for 2 hours going uphill the Den Thang range. Reaching to the top, enjoy the great view of the Fansipan Peak and the stunning Muong Hoa Valley opens wide in the sight. You continue hiking to Hang Da Village of the H’mong which sits at 1,800m hill-top. walking path sneaks on high elevation and offers amazing panorama of Muong Hoa Valley. You then trek down hill through several H’mong hamlets of the Hau Thao Commune which scatter on steep and rocky mountain side. You will have the opportunity to see different process making fiber from hemp: Spinning, weaving,…in these continue your trecking to Ta Van village of Dzay minority . Have picnich lunch in the Dzay house , discover their daily life style and enjoy landscape . The last village is trek through bamboo forests towards Giang Ta Chai waterfall, cross over a rattan suspension bridge and enter into Giang Ta Chai village which is inhabited by the Red Zao minorities. You will be picked up again and transferred back to Sapa town bout 16:00 pm.
