The whole Vietnam tour for family with kids over 2 years old


Enjoy a morning at the beach – with plenty of water sports to keep the kids busy. Experience local BBQ seafood for lunch overlooking the white sandy beaches.

Trip's Itinerary

Day 1. Arrival in Hanoi [B]

Arrive in Hanoi, met and welcomed by your tour guide and driver. Transferred to Hanoi for check-in. Have a welcome dinner with Vietnamese food in a restaurant; get a briefing of the trip. Overnight in Hanoi.



Day 2. Hanoi City Tour [B, L]

We have a full day visiting the long standing history capital of Vietnam. The first place will be Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Ho Chi Minh's former residence, followed by a short walk to visit One Pillar Pagoda (the pagoda’s architecture is unique in the world) then, museum of Vietnam Ethnology. Back to old town for a Vietnamese traditional lunch in a restaurant. PM: Visit the Temple of Literature – the first university in Vietnam, Hoa Lo (Hanoi Hilton prison) Head back to the old quarter of Hanoi to visit the busy 36 streets by riding rickshaw for 1 hour. End the day with water puppet performance.

Day 3. Hanoi - Cuc Phuong Park [B, L, D]

We set off early and drive to Cuc Phuong National Park (approx. 3 hrs), home to an amazing variety of wildlife. We visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Center on arrival. Have lunch at the the forest restaurant. In ther afternoon, get on car; drive in to the center of the forest. Have a 2,5 hour trekking through lush rainforest to see a giant thousand-year-old tree. Followed with a visit to a prehistoric man cave on the way out. Dinner and overnight in the national park’s bungalow.

There is an optional ‘night spotting' tour (depending on weather conditions) into the primary forest to find the more elusive mammal species, including the Black Giant Squirrel.

Day 4. Cuc Phuong National Park [B, l, D]

Wake up early for a fresh walk to the botanical garden or wandering around the lake and listen to early birds singing. After breakfast, we drive to Van Long nature reserve for 1,5 hour boat row. It is a wonderful karst area where if you are lucky, you could see the unique white short langur on mountains’ sides. Have lunch in a stilt-house restaurant near by. In the afternoon, drive to visit Hoa Lu ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th century. Overnight in Ninh Binh city.

Day 5. Ninh Binh - Halong Bay [B, L, D]

Drive 3,5 hour to Halong Bay through lush green rice paddies where we transfer to a traditional junk boat for a cruise. Enjoy a fresh seafood lunch, before exploring a limestone caves, clime up to Titop island for a panorama view of the bay at sunset. swimming on the beach. After dinner the kids can enjoy a spot of night fishing. Overnight on board.

Day 6. Halong Bay Cruise [B, L, D]

A full day of cruising from Halong bay to Lan Ha bay with kayaking and more swimming or biking in Cat Ba national park. Lunch in a village in the national park if you take the bikes.Overnight on board.

Day 7. Halong Bay - Hanoi [B, L, D]

Following breakfast we cruise around Bai Tu Long bay before transferring back to Hanoi for a free evening. Overnight in Hanoi .

Day 8. Hoi An [B, L]

Early morning flight to Hoi An. Enjoy a half-day walking tour with a visit to Chua Ong Pagoda, Assembly Hall, the 200-year-old Tam Ky House and the Japanese Bridge. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 9. Hoi An [B]

Enjoy a morning at the beach – with plenty of water sports to keep the kids busy. Experience local BBQ seafood for lunch overlooking the white sandy beaches. After lunch take a short boat trip to a nearby island to visit some handicraft villages and enjoy the beaches. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 10. Hoi An [B]

Free day in Hoi An to explore the town, visit the tailors or simply relax. Vietnamese cooking lessons can be arranged upon request and tour of the morning markets. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 11. Hoi An - Ho Chi Minh City [B, L]

Morning flight to Ho Chi Minh and settle into the hotel. After lunch we tour the maze of streets and experience the hustle and bustle of Chinatown, ancient pagodas, mosques and cathedrals and War Museum. Overnight in HCMC

Day 12. Cu Chi Tunnels [B]

Today we take a half day trip to Chu Chi tunnels and explore the complex maze of tunnels built during the U.S.-Vietnam War. The afternoon is free or we can arrange a trip upon request to the Water Park , History Museum or the magical and whimsical Dam Sen Park. Overnight in HCMC.

Day 13. Mekong Delta [B, L]

We drive to Cai Be, boat through the lush green vegetation of the canals to an orchard where we are treated to a delicious lunch. After lunch we back to Vinh Long Town where a van will pick us up for the trip back to Ho Chi Minh City , we will be back in town around 6:30 pm. Overnight in HCMC

Day 14. Departure [B]

Free time for your final day in Ho Chi Minh before your flight onward.
